Prayer Spaces

Regular Prayer Spaces have ended

Our recent Prayer Spaces have been held 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month at Chelmsford Cathedral, but our Team believe that the season for regular Prayer Spaces has come to a close. The last was on 11th December 2019.

History of our Prayer Spaces

Prayer Spaces were a feature of Chelmsford 24-7 when it started in 2015.  Over that period, we opened them at many different churches in our City, often monthly for a season and as ‘one-off’ events.

Prayer Spaces were conceived as places to meet God and for prayer over our City, Nation and World and for anything that is on a persons heart  – quiet and relaxed, worship music gently playing and various interactive resources laid out to stimulate prayer.

Prayer Spaces are not ‘prayer meetings’, but places of encounter, where God can speak to those attending, guide and send them out envisioned to impact their community, our City, Nation and World.
