Thy Kingdom Come – Global Prayer initiative – 10th to 20th May 2018
For its third year, we again supported this year’s Thy Kingdom Come event, to pray for those we know, our City, Nation and World, that they might personally experience the saving, life-changing love of Jesus Christ.

Prayer Walk and Communion, Essex Police HQ, 10th May
On the first day, also the National day of Prayer for Police, we had a most blessed time Prayer Walking around Essex Police HQ.
At the beginning the Chief Constable and the Force senior command team came out to greet us and it was a privilege to be able to stand and openly pray for and speak God’s blessing over them and for all who faithfully serve us throughout the county.
We were guided by the leader of the Essex Branch of the Christian Police Association and accompanied by one of the police chaplains. At the conclusion, we all took communion in the HQ Sports Pavillion.

Day of Prayer at The Orchards, (part of Meadgate Church), Great Baddow, Monday 14th
From early in the morning, to late evening, a prayer room was open at the Church’s community centre. There was opportunity for interactive prayer using resources around the space – including a ‘river’, themed on praying for our City, referencing the River of Life in Ezekiel 47. There was also a period of corporate prayer around The Lord’s Prayer during the evening.
Prayer Space, Life Church, evening of Friday 18th
Our regular interactive Prayer Space was also open that evening. (sorry , no photos were taken!)
